For this no Yello Sub?

Recently Dr. Wife learned that her company is undergoing a merger. By "merger" I mean a hostile takeover in which everyone is up a creek with an invisible paddle that no one will tell them the location of.
Here is what we know.

She has to reapply for her job. She knows this because when she was sent to HR to get questions answered, she was met with a room full of computers and instructions to apply for her job online.

The job will be posted for other applicants.

If hired, there will likely be a pay cut.

If hired, she may be without work for the week before and the week after Christmas because her current business ceases to exist before the new one offers jobs.

The salary bonus that they have been dangling before her to get her to do the work of two people the last six months is vapor.

Her main hope is that her main boss, who likes her work, doesn't quit in the process.

She has worked so damn hard for so long with no reward, and now this. We had hoped that by working for a non-profit firm she could avoid some of this sort of BS, but that is apparently not the case. She has done all that one could ask of her, and then some. She just doesn't deserve this.

I'm mad. I'm punch people mad. I'm kick doors down and push people into traffic mad. I have a few silent moments right now. It's probably best for the world. I can't even crack jokes I'm so mad.

Oh, man, that is so, so, so rotten. I'm really sorry. If I were in your situation, I'd be that mad, too.

You know the Neff Clan are wishing nothing but the best for the Ramblers. And if there's anything we can do, let us know.

I'm not even sure I know what to say. Our thoughts are with you guys. I can't imagine how mad I'd be in your situation.

If you guys need anything, anything at all, let us know.

Ok, you had me a little more nervous than I would like. But after talking to you for a few minutes, I at least feel comfortable enough to say that I will not be seeing your mug on CNN anytime soon

upDATE from Wife:

The "University" has failed failed failed. Here's how:
-Nov 15th: Announcement of "merger"
-Nov 19th: Town hall meeting where UT big wigs announce that we will have to re-apply for our jobs, roughly 10% of the people will be cut, they will offer "competitive" salaries, and they will post -anarchy, they rush to post available jobs. Many, many, many mistakes were made in the postings. Only 80% of the jobs were posted. So, by "roughly 10% of the people will be cut," they meant 20%.
Nov 4th: An announcement was made at a town hall meeting run by the "University" big wigs. They stated that offers will be sent out on Mon & Tues (Dec 10th & 11th).
-Dec 6th: UT board signs off on the "acquisition." Notice that they are no longer calling it a merger. Ding, ding, ding, somebody give that reporter a cookie!
-Dec 10th: After some calling around, I personally found out that they were not planning to send offers until Wednesday, Dec 12th. After much insisting, they agreed that they could do so kindly as to communicate this information in writing to the lowly poople, eh, people at the "Company." Oh yes, once we have offers in hand, we will have precisely 24hrs to accept them.
-Dec 11th, (12th for most people): Actually, offers will not be sent out until Thursday, Dec 13th. Just for reference, Friday, Dec 14th is our last official day as "company" employees.

I'm going to stop with the facts. I'd get myself into trouble with any actual thoughts or feelings on how this thing has been handled.

Any chance that Stower's hiring? I hear that Kansas City's a rockin' town with many opportunities for a young family with gamers under the roof.

At least, that's what I've heard.
